Back to school and a traffic maze

Map of Florida highlighting Hernando County

Image via Wikipedia

It’s the first day of school in Hernando County, central Florida. I drove to the nearest new high school and couldn’t not notice the big difference.

What used to be an almost one-way-loop of smoothly flowing light traffic, turned into a traffic maze, where the cars are going into every direction – non-stop. Right next-door to the new high school, a new K – 8 grade school opened today and for the next few years the number of students will rapidly grow.

Sill, everything looks well organized and running smoothly, both new schools are beautiful and were green-built. Hopefully, all the teachers and students will have a great year and many fun moments there.
