By Daria / May 1, 2013 Share Tweet Pin Share Share Photographer Mark Gee of New Zealand was trying to capture the full moon rising with his camera for a long time. After many failed attempts to get decent results, everything came together on January 28, 2013. When the moon was rising over the Mount Victoria Lookout in Wellington, Mark captured the footage below, positioned 2.1 kilometers (1.3 miles) away. People that gathered that night at the observation point to observe the full moon were perfect spectators, without knowing it. According to Mark Gee, this video came off the memory card of his Canon – without any manipulation. With three minutes of spectacular film of the night sky with wonderful music – this video is well worth checking out. Watch it on full screen if you can. . .
