Pan flute music from heaven

Pan flute or Pan pipe is an ancient musical instrument, usually made of bamboo or giant cane.

Nowadays the syrinx (another name from Greek mythology) is not very common – although it used to be very popular with folk musicians. It’s also supposed to be the first mouth organ, preceding both, the pipe organ and harmonica.

Until recently I hardly knew anything about the pan flute. I’ve seen and heard it before and enjoyed the woody kind of tones.

But after listening and watching to the video below I sure feel a lot of appreciation for the heavenly sounds this little instrument can produce when handled by the masters, like David Doerling.

The beautiful song, Amazing Grace, and breathtaking background of Austrian mountains added to the magic as well. You’re more than welcome to check it all out for yourself!
