By Daria / October 3, 2010 Share Tweet Pin Share Share At the Weeki Wachee Springs Today, my Sunday was exciting! I decided to visit the Weeki Wachee Springs – something I’ve been planning on and putting aside for a few years now. Maybe because I live right around the corner from this tourist attracition? To me there’s something magically attractive about the water (besides the fact that I’ve always been tempted to put my feet in it) – especially when it seems to be crystal clear and has beautiful color, like Weeki Wachee River. Crystal clear water of Weeki Wachee River I very much enjoyed two Mermaids’ shows, The Little Mermaid and Fish Tales – and managed to take a video of two mermaids, performing to the song Proud to Be an American. If you’ve never had a chance to see the Weeki Wachee Mermaids performing in person, take a look at the video below. I have a feeling you might put a trip to the Weeki Wachee Springs on the top of your bucket list after watching the video… 🙂 . . One more time I’d like to share with You an inspiring thought I received from TUT a little while ago. It very deeply touched my heart and made me think about all the beautiful things we can do for ourselves and those around us – and while doing so – expand many people’s happiness beyond expectations. People who give, are given to. . People who care, are cared for. . And People who love… age slower, run faster, jump higher, eat healthier, tend to live in cottages, are as happy with friends as they are alone, climb more trees, skip when they could walk, kiss when they could talk, take the odd Friday off, experience faster manifestations, and are really popular with animals. . . Latest news and posts To see who recently celebrated their birthday, take a look at September Birthdays list. Click on the link above, it opens a new window. Read the whole post about every person by clicking on the title. For the latest Suncoast SNPJ Lodge 778 in Spring Hill schedule of events, check out http://www.squidoo.com/snpj . . More “balina” (bacci ball) news from Spring Hill I’m very happy to tell you that our balina course behind the Hall appears to be ready to serve its purpose again. Our incredibly devoted treasurer Rita Hren and her son Scott did all the tree trimming, weeding and raking, removed pine needles and leaves, and pressure washed the pavilion – to make the place look very inviting for the upcoming season 2010/2011 events. . . Important Meeting The reason for today’s newsletter is actually an important meeting I want to let you know about. Place: Spring Hill Hall on County Line Road – Suncoast SNPJ Lodge 778 Date: Wednesday, October 6, 2010 Time: 11 AM Lunch: served at 12 noon, price: $5.00 Eileen Harfmann, our Lodge Secretary sent out many postcards with the following announcement: “We have much to discuss – a vote will be taken.
