Winter in black and white

Last night someone from up north asked me if I ever missed snow while living in Florida. I didn’t have to think to reply to that question.

Sometimes I do. Snow-covered forests and mountains look stunning and around Christmas time there’s nothing more beautiful and uplifting than lit up Christmas trees on a white, snowy background.

And since I have good friends everywhere, they send me photos of the things and views that are not available in my immediate surroundings – and I can have it all: the beauty of the sun-lit snow-covered landscape and the pleasant temperatures in mid-eighties. Isn’t life beautiful?

Fantastic photos 🙂 We don’t get much snow here either (U.K. Lincolnshire) so it’s always a pleasure to see a snowy scene on someone’s blog.

Beautiful! And not just because they are snow. You seem to have the same kind of theme as My Quality Day. I like it.
