Pinellas Park Oktoberfest is a fun annual event, hosted by the German American Friendship Society of Pinellas County, FL. The Society (or German Club for short) keeps a very traditional program, food and beer offerings to entertain crowds under the big tent behind the hall. On October 10, 2014 the place was packed and the weather was perfect.
Cool breeze and dropping temperature made that afternoon and evening an ideal time and place to spend some fun time outdoors. Not to mention, appropriate for the whole family. Even the most persistent dancers didn't have to sweat too much... 😉
No wonder there were plenty of visitors of all ages, wearing Oktober-festive German outfits, from traditional to outright... hmmmmmmm... let's say - extreme... lol
But everyone seemed to have a good time and music by Manni Daum and Jason kept everyone hopping and in high spirits. I'm guessing that variety of beers helped a little bit as well...
Meanwhile, inside the hall, which was also fully occupied, another party started. Tony and Annabelle knew they couldn't come to Oktoberfest without their button boxes. And a group of singing Slovenians quickly gathered around them...

Lots of random visitors enjoyed the music and singing, even the youngest visitors could not help themselves but dance to the world's happiest music! 🙂

In short, that was one fun night, thank you everyone who attended and participated. I wish I had more good photos but I don't, sorry.
Look forward to seeing you soon again. Tony and Annabelle, make sure to bring the box... 🙂
