A road to the diamond mine

You know how they say that the teacher appears when the student is ready? The following story – my own life experience – is a good example.

That morning I received some news that totally surprised me – and even more so – threw me off balance. For some time I kept crying, asking myself, “What am I going to do?”

No answer.

After I got over the first shock and talked about what happened to a good friend, I started looking at some emails and found the following (by Mike Dooley) in one of them:

“After all, Daria, it’s usually a dirt road that leads to the diamond mine.”

As soon as I finished reading  the sentence above – it all became clear: It’s all for the best! And even when I have to take a dirt road, it is always leading me toward the diamond mine, toward where I want to be. With my eyes still red from crying – I was smiling again…
