First of all, I clearly remember the very first ladybug rock I made. It was a gift to a three-year-old girl who adopted it right away and kept playing with it day after day. Knowing that was very meaningful to me in my early stone-painting days. Also, a powerful confirmation that I heard/felt/understood the rock's calling correctly helped me proceed with more confidence. Here are some of my ladybug painted rocks below.
For the Love of Ladybugs
"Ladybug is the perfect symbol of lady-luck. The Ladybug brings luck and abundance wherever she goes.
When you see the Ladybug, make your wish known to her, and when you see her fly away, you will know she is off to grant your wish."
"The appearance of a Ladybug heralds a time of luck in which our wishes begin to be fulfilled. Higher goals and new heights are now possible. Worries begin to dissipate. New happiness comes about. This insect also cautions not to try to hard or go to fast to fulfill our dreams. Let things flow at their natural pace. In the due course of time, our wishes will all come true. Alternatively she could be signalling that you can leave your worries behind and that new happiness is on its way. This species of beetle signals you to to not be scared to live your own truth. Protect your truth and know that it is yours to honor."
"Many believe when newborn babies possess something related to ladybugs, like a ladybug-printed toy or clothes, it ensures their safe-keeping while auspiciously blessing them."
Ladybug Painted Rocks
Every one of my Ladybug painted rocks is entirely unique. No two can ever be alike. However, this is mostly due to the shape and size of the stones, which with the help of some acrylic paint became these adorable, luck-bringing bugs. No wonder they are so much fun to keep around!
